What it costs
A year of support, by edition
Renewal is priced at about 25% of the licence price per year, the rate published in our Licensing & Sales Policies. The figures below are the ones on each renewal product itself, read from the master price list rather than worked out here, so a price on this page is the price the cart charges.
Renewal runs for one year from purchase and can be extended annually. A licence stays eligible while it is under 5 years old; past that the route back to support is an upgrade. Prices shown are US dollars.
Support is included for one year with every new licence, so a plan is only needed once that first year is up. If you are not sure when yours started, ask support and they can look it up from your licence key.
Not sure whether renewing or upgrading is better?
If a newer release has what you want, an upgrade carries a fresh year of support with it and you end up in the same place for less.
